Hello everyone this months Clarity challenge is ALL ABOUT THE WORDS This is what I came up with for this theme hope you like this I will list what I used below

Clarity northern lights papers
Clarity clear non coloured parchment
Clarity groovi starter kit

Before we start Can I remind anyone who does not know the workings of parchment That you do all your scoreing and embossing on the reverse of  parchment and use your tumble dryer sheet on this side. Any piercing or cutting is done on the front  you do your white work on the soft side of board colouring on the hard side the more we do these things the more we remember

Lets get started With the starter kit I used the little boxes and the letters I put these in first using my number 1 tool for sharp colour

Now placed the scallop circle in plate mate  make sure you try get this in the middle now with the scallop square put in your square around the circle   giving yourself a boarder

  Add the floral circle to the plate mate sits just right so you do not have to move it around

Now add your butterfly

On the reverse side still but with tool one  and boarder pricking plate I added my patterns embossing not pricking Now change to straight pricking plate prick from front of work pierce every whole between letter boxes and the centre work

This is what should look like now

I did my butterfly on scrap piece of parchment for my decoupage

Add white work remember don't press to hard little at a time let the work rest for at least a day  so it does not buckle and keep building on the whiteness will come Now I have coloured all the work to what I wanted

I am not expert at picot edging so where I could I used the straight pricking grid go to admit this was my best so far at this what is it they say practise make perfect found the butterfly harder but managed to do this using the twin tool remember when you use your snips or scissors hold them down and twist before cut each time I used glue dot to add my butterfly to my work I did not have the glue at this stage I used the northern lights papers which felt it gave this work just that bit more colour hope you enjoyed this Thank you for visiting my blog hope I will see you again soon

Hello everyone this card is my sample for Clarity stamp and stencil challenge ALL IN THE WORDS
I hope you like it I will list what I used below

Clarity Blue tit and moon mask clouds and hills
Xcut die/ die machine
Clarity stencil brushes /Make up sponge
Promarkers
Adirondack Black / Denim  ink pads
Distress ink pad iced spruce / Weathered wood
Clarity blending mat A4/ masking tape
Pinflair glue gel

Lets get started

I put the die on card stamped the images through this so I knew exactly where needed to be  Then I put through die machine

When I took out of die machine I put little bit of masking tape behind the die to keep card in place now added masks I started with sky Brush weathered wood ink over sky then from the top worked down the card with denim remove moon mask add some clouds with make up sponge.

Place your hill mask towards the sky with sponge add hills in lightly as you move mask down make the area slightly darker till you reach the bottom then add couple of trees blot plop on paper first special if ink pad is new don't want them to dark as they are in the distance

Now with promarkers add your colour blending as you go I used a grey pen with fine point went around the outside of the bird

 

I used the deckle edge on blending mat the tear the piece of northern lights papers and with stencil brush did not need to re ink as had just enough ink on brush to go around the torn edges of this piece
now I put this together I used pinflair glue gel to raise my centre piece  Well I hope you enjoyed this thank you for visiting my blog hope I will see you again soon x

Polar bears

Hello everyone this months Clarity challenge if MAN'S WORLD I choose the polar bears from the Clarity club to do this I like these but must admit my first time using them I will list what I used below
Clarity groovi starter kit
Clarity club frame but the Adapter can be used
Polar bears plate / Large circle and square plates / Square Deckle plate
Clarity boarder frame /Clarity pattern plate
Clarity Stencil brush
Clarity teal parchment/ brads
Distress ink pads Broken glass / faded jeans
Thick copy paper /Clarity stencil stars and circles
Clarity light box / pergamano embossing mat


Lets get started

use a tumble drier sheet over the parchment on the side that will be doing all your work from so your tools will glide easier with starter kit and circle plate I put in the outside ring missed a gap put in the next but at this point you could put all three circles in just something decided later to do

With smaller plate holder add your polar bears

Now going to say this with lettering we all make the mistake I have before now got my letter in wrong direction so I am always watching this now so much I put birthday in upside down So anyway I used the letter from the boarder holder then went to square plate and added angled lines to the writing

 

Top and bottom of the circles I used the square plate to do design then with the circle plate added the inner circles to the out sides of the big circle From the pattern plate add in your waves  

Now your white work I used the embossing mat, for this start with the larger tool don't press to hard this part takes time and patient its rest the work in between don't worry the white will come up we have all tried to do to much at time then it buckles so rest I decided between the circles I would add the dots do not with the tool just go around as you will get a dot in the middle that wont go white try going in a up down then a cross motion before going around if not sure always try out on a piece of scrap parchment  With the letters decided to whiten every other one The outer circles I added stippling to this still with embossing mat 1.5 tool very lightly taped the parchment but don't press to hard as you will go through this

With a piece of copy paper I went all over with large stencil brush and broken china my faded jeans pad has dried up a lot so was handy for this dabbed it all over till was happy now attach your stencil with a make up sponge and broken china add the stars and circles till I was happy when dry cut to size I needed attached the rested parchment with brads then glued this to navy card  hope you enjoyed this thank you for reading my blog hope I will see you again soon

Hello everyone, cant believe we are in March already this months Clarity challenge is MAN'S WORLD. I chose the balloon stamps for this as I so love these I will put what I used below

Distress ink pad vintage photo /Adirondack denim / pitch black
Artistry ink pad avocado
Promarkers /Maroon card
Clarity cloud stencil
Brayer

Lets get started Stamp the large postage stamp at an angle in the middle of the card and cover with mask

Now with mask in place add the other two stamps and mask add sentiment to left hand corner I have got to apologise here as forgot to put in the photo about gelli plate I dabbed the vintage pad on gelli plate used the brayer to even colour all over now with screwed up kitchen roll dab lightly over gelli plate now place gelli plate over card turn it over rub the back so you get the image you desire I was happy first time so never repeated

Now mask off the stamp area with notelets so can work on the image  stamp the balloons and mask stamp man under tree

With stencil brush and denim put sky in now with stencil clouds just put slight colour with make up sponge to get your clouds I torn a notelet here to get mask for my hills using avocado ink pad and sponge put hills in

Now repeat with the smaller stamps

With masks back on I used vintage photo and sponge lightly pulling colourr from mask to card to give my shading but little at time can always add more but cant take off

Coloured my balloons with promakers still in love with these balloons chose not to put in black lines around the out side did not think needed it here hope you enjoyed my blog thank you for visiting hope I will see you again soon x
