Love

Hello everyone  a card for the Clarity challenge love I am new to the parchment craft its all trial and error to start I have got to apologise I got engrossed in this piece that I forgot to take picture so let me explain how I did this
Clarity Groovi starter kit /butterfly wreath plate / Square nested plate
Tumble dryer sheet / spectrum noir pencils
pinflair glue gel/ gems /Teal card

Lets get started
first I placed my wreath plate into main plate using removable  tape, placed my parchment over the wreath wiped over with tumble dry sheet to make it easy for embossing pen to move I used the smallest end to allow for crisp lines at this stage I only did the wreath, using the letter squares worked out exactly where I would put the love as I did not want to lose to much of the butterfly. On my test pieces so far have made the mistakes of putting my letters at the wrong end remembering you are working on reverse so I now tend to pick up the edge to see if I am putting in right place so easy to do it wrong
I do all of the drawing out on this piece with the fine tool now place parchment back over plate and draw in the rest at this stage I added square plate to draw square around the piece
with all the plates taken away using the soft side of the blue board start with the bigger tools adding where you want embossing in white don't press to hard or you will get holes if it is still not white enough give these parts arrest  now turn your board over for the harder side to use your colour pencils if not the soft side the pencils will go through.  Colour what you wish to colour then you can go back in and whiten a bit more with perhaps a smaller embossing tool but be extra careful not to press to hard and remember to put board back to the soft side for the whitening   I must admit I did cheat a bit on this one I cut around the square but close to the line
now with your folded teal card I placed only small spot of glue gel where I would put my gem so no glue would show now add your gems again not to much glue that it shows as I say I am just learning parchment as well as they say practise makes perfect hope you enjoyed this I did thank you for visiting my blog hope to see you again soon xx
