Spring time

Hello everyone welcome to my blog this is the second part of Clarity challenge for April Masking my idea for this one was to show you how could do a ring of roses it is quiet simple may look difficult but is not I put another mask in the middle to give you a guide to give a circle let me apologise for a couple of my photos bit blurred

What I used
Distress ink pads walnut/ Wild honey / Evergreen bough
Clarity theuver card / Clarity stencil brushes
Notelets / Promarkers
Clarity small rose stamp / Clarity Club stamp / Clarity woodland animals
Faber castell polychrome colour pencils
Clarity circle stencil / Clarity masking sheets
Clarity small square letter set stamps
Kitchen roll

Lets begin

First I used the mask sheet with the circle stencil I drew from the circle on to the mask cut out put in the middle of my card as my guide. Stamp with walnut ink four roses into a cross. stamp onto notelets and cut through a load at a time or you might be their all day if you do one at a time

Mask these roses.  then stamp again in the middle of each gap mask build this up till you have it all completely covered
Stamp Your spring and time using little letters in walnut

With Evergreen and stencil brush build up your colour around the outside of card did not want this to dark so next went on to kitchen roll screwed this up dipped it into ink pad if not sure if to dark or your ink pad is new can always use a piece of scrap paper then in circle movements got my desired effect you can build this up to what you would like,  just gave a touch up with the brush again

with wild honey I used the brush in the middle then did the same with the kitchen roll but not to much to the middle use more as a shadeing

So now I have taken of masks using my polychrome pencils coloured in roses and spring

With promarker went around the edges of roses to make them pop
did the same with the letters and middle of the circle. With black promarker I did decorative squiggle
in the corners coloured  in promarkers still felt something was missing so added a rabbit well it is spring with a pencil I put bit of shading just underneath so he's not floating

Then with the chisel end of my promarker I went all the way around edge of card keeping the pen flat if you have not ever done this before it is easy try on piece of scrap paper first
Thank you for joining me hope you enjoyed this hope to see you again soon
