Elephants

Hello everyone we are now on the second part of the Clarity challe4nge FANCY CUTTING come join me I will explain how I made this card

What I used
Clarity groovi system / The texture plate
Clarity club groovi club system /elephant plate
Spellbinders fancy circle die
Clarity giraffe stencil
Faber castell Polychrome colour pencils / gems
Artistry Lime kiss collection
Clarity parchment
Water colour paper /Purple pearlescent paper /pinflair glue gel
Clarity black groovi board
Calibur machine / water spray bottle  /Thin extra strong double sided tape
Parchment tools

Lets get started

I put the circle die through the calber machine with parchment then using the reverse  side of the circle rub with tumble dryer sheet Now using the small groovi club system put the Elephants in the circle
I change to large groovi system added the sun and hills added a wider area for the water

Now with texture plate I added the ripples in the water
Using the soft side of my black  board I used ball tools to whiten the feet  and the hills

turn board back to hard side  use  colour pencils to colour in the  scene when I finished turned board back to soft using ball tools did a bit of whitening middle ears forehead trunk feet again
With caliber machine and die run the pearlescent paper though  now where you are going to place gems glue the two together using just enough so don't show through then add little bit to add gems put this to one side to dry properly
Now with you water colour paper using Avocado fancy rascal lime kiss put the ink pads lightly over the paper then spray with water give it a little bit time to start to mingle together then put copy paper to absorb the worst of the  water over don't let it dry to much put your stencil over use with stencil brush the lime kiss and avocado ink till happy  now start ripping your sides till got how you would like then the edges add bit of colour roasted chestnut morning dew   then spray a little water not to tmuch don't want to flood it   let it dry

Now back to large groovi system using the squares and letters do your sentiment emboss with tool on reverse side the colour in using you two point tool prick around the edges Now stick background to card use pinflair glue to add circle then use small piece extra thin double side  strong tape to back of sentiment apply to card
Thank you for visiting my site hope to see you again soon

  5. Hi Julie
Love your card. I have the Groovie Baby Elephant which I have used once, but don't have much in the way of frames as we only have the plates that come with the Groovie Baby Club, so seeing how you used the Spellbinders circle die to create a frame has certainly been a help, and I will be giving it a try.

    1. Thank you Margaret it is difficult when you are limited but if you still with the ones you do have you often see bits you can add that you would not normally think of hope this is of some use to you
