Merry Christmas
Hello everyone we are almost at Christmas. This year gone so fast This months Clarity challenge is CAROL SINGING & CHRISTMAS JOY Hope you enjoy my blog lets get started with the materials I used
Clarity light box
Clarity powder blue parchment
Clarity groovi system
Clarity groovi Jayne's frame plate
Clarity small Twas the night 5 cat window plate
Clarity straight pricking plate
Gems /pinflair glue gel /double sided strong thing tape
Promarker / Faber castell polychrome colour pencils
Clarity mistletoe stamp
White card
Clarity club groovi system
Clarity pricking boarder Diagonal no 1 / parchment scissors
Tumble dryer sheet /soft and the hard sided mat
Distress ink pad Chipped sapphire
Lets get started
Now with you club groovi system or if you have an adapter for small plates add the twas Christmas plate again with the smallest tool draw around
you now want your boarder pricking plate but still want to use this on the reverse Using slightly bigger tool as we want to use the pricking boarder to emboss now you have done this turn the parchment over and with pricking mat underneath prick in between the diamonds. Now back to reverse side o0f parchment on the frame plate you have Merry Christmas put this at the top of your frame and using the line on frame plate put box around this
Now all the rest you do from the front with pricking tool and straight pricking plate start at the edge prick four holes in a square the miss four holes so you leave the same amount gaps between them all. Now back to reverse side and soft mat underneath use the larger tool and to do the white work between each cross don't press to hard softly softly you can go back over later to make it whiter don't forget to let this rest I did a bit to much in one go so tended to curl
Do all your colouring on a hard side of mat. use your blue promarker to go around the gaps in the frame on the reverse side of parchment and colour the rest with your pencils now the cutting out with your parchment scissors do the cutting of the crosses from the front of your work making sure you give your scissors a little twist as you cut

I used my light box rub the darker side of the blue parchment this is the side you will work on except when picking you then turn the parchment to the front
So on the reverse side attach you parchment to the frame plate using the smallest tool draw the frame
I did my back ground with white card and distress chipped sapphire blue and mistletoe stamp my ink pad is very low on ink so gave me just the right amount of ink if ink pad is to wet blot then add to card so I filled card all over
I backed the parchment onto pearl blue card with strong thin double sided tape just where the cat is then added small dot of pinflair glue gel to corners then added the gems with pinflair to the corners now attach this to the back ground I did not show all the background as I had trouble taking a photo of all of it as the middle did not show enough hope you enjoyed this thank you for visiting my blog hope to see you here again soon xx

Hello everyone this is my other card for this months Clarity challenge CAROL SINGERS AND JOY
May I apologise before I start my photos are with the light on middle of the day but was so dark
lets get stated
Clarity's Gelli card
Clarity's bauble and stars stencils
Clarity's Mery Christmas chain word stamps
Grunge paste
Distress ink pads Expresso / Red brick / peacock feathers
aged Mahogany Adirondack willow /Pitch black / slate
Brilliance starlite silver
Clarity stencil brushes / make up sponge
Clarity branch stamp / naked tree
Masking tape /black promaker fine point
Notelets
Mask off the out side of card so you have a boarder. Using masking tape added bauble stencil to card put notelet just under where the top of bauble is using slate and sponge add your colour
Now put the post it note so it covers what you have already done I stared at the bottom with brick red and brush when you have a good bit of colour then with a sponge bring in the colour left on the stencil do the same with top and peacock ink and again with sponge don't be scared to add the colour but do remember once on cant take off so if not confident do little at a time
Now I added my star stencil under bauble stencil apply your grunge paste with your scraper
Take your stencils away leave to dry completely
Add both stencils back in the same way with a make up sponge add the silver ink
Wait for this ink to dry takes a bit longer than other inks
Now with mask cover half of the top of bauble so the naked tree goes through the hole and out the other side
so you get this effect
Once I put my Merry Christmas in I was not happy still so used the naked branch and added more Now with stencil brush go around the out side with willow till you have desired effect Now take off your masking tape and add with fine point promarker one big dot and two small dots all around the out side. I hope you have enjoyed my blog thank you for visiting hope I will see you here again soon ..

Birthday Wishes
Hello everyone Wow cant believe we are in November time for another Clarity challenge this month its BLAST FROM THE PAST choose one of the past challenges I chose anything goes and decided to do a groovi for this project so I will list the materials first
Clarity A4 parchment
Clarity groovi system
both trumpet lilies plates /straight pricking plate
squares and circles plates / Clarity groovi club plate
Faber castell polychrome colouring pencils
Artistry inks mellow green /distress inks mustard seed
Gems / pinflair glue gel /Clarity stencil brushes
Tumble dryer sheet
Lets get started
Rub over parchment with tumble dryer sheet In the four corners I added trumpets using the smallest tools
now filled the gaps with the long trumpets
put your squares in so that the trumpets dangle over the squares
from the main groovi system I added my Birthday wishes
with the circles I enter the one that fit tight into the square then added the next circle down same as I did for the squares now add the club plate gently going around the sentiment
Now with the square pricking plate do this from the front of your work but using number 2 tool instead of a pricking tool add your dots in all four corners
with the soft side of your board use number four tool add your white work remember don't press to hard soft is best and let it rest in-between before coming back doing it again so will come up whiter
then with the colour pencils colour in on the reverse side still
With mustard ink and brush stroke the parchment on the reverse
then with the meadow green do the out sides of the square well I hope you enjoyed this work and gives you some ideas hope to see you back again soon

For all you do
Hello every one This month is A BLAST FROM THE PAST and my choice was anything goes this is what I came up with for this so shall we begin
Clarity 7x 7 Gelli card
Masking tape/ make up sponges
Clarity stencil brushes
Adirondack ink pads pitch black / Peach Bellini /Willow
Artistry ink collection Lime kiss /Lime kiss / Avocado
Distress ink pad Pine needles
Notelets /Kitchen roll
Clarity Thank you collection stamps
Clarity Circle stencil / Ginkgo stencil
Promarkers burnt orange /pine / black plus fine point nib
Green card
Shall we begin
Start with the circle stencil put in place on the card and stamp thank you so you get this exactly where you would like this
With the peach ink pad and stencil brush I added ink to the out circle but not the middle wanted more of a shadow using make up sponge bring the ink of the stencil into the circle to sharpen this with stencil off add rest of sentiment
Now with my ginkgo stencil I place in corner I used post it notes to cover areas did not want to contaminate with ink with stencil brush I used lime kiss then with avocado used more on the edges bring colour in with sponge then hit the edges and stalk with pine needles again using sponge now repeat on the opposite side top corner now with the two remaining corners wanted more of a shadow so just used what was left on the brushes and on the sponges
I know I use this technic a lot but I do like it I started with the peach ink pad screw up my paper towel and dip straight into ink pad if bit worried try dabbing on to scrap paper first at least this way you can see how bright it with come up first dab around the outer sides till you are satisfied
Now move your kitchen roll around so you have clean part do the same with the willow till you are happy
Take masking tape off I did slanted black line with fine point all through the thank you then alternate green and orange colour for the out side of the card wanted to doodle but did not want just squiggle line but thought be easy to over do this so I chose dots two fine dots and one bigger all around the edge now I mounted this on to green card I do hope you enjoyed this thank you for visiting my blog hope you will return again soon x

We can handle anything
Hello everyone for this months Clarity challenge its SQUARES AND CIRCLES we are in autumn now so I thought how about some ivy leave so this is what I came up with give you a list of what I used
Clarity the other card
Artistry ink pads lime kiss collection
Versamark stamp pad /Talcum powder
Cosmic shimmer Aurora embossing powder
Clarity stencil brushes
Clarity stamp club stamp ivy leaves /Clarity sentiment stamp
Promarkers
Heat gun /Pinflair glue gel
Maroon card
Lets begin
I cut three square of the other card so that they would sit nicely together on my maroon card
use your talc over the three cards lightly so that the embossing powder does not stick to places you don't want I began with the smallest piece of card stamped with the versa mark ink pad then applied the embossing powder tap the back of card to take any excess of the card that is not needed when happy with this use your heat gun don't hold to close to the card as don't wish to burn the card and soon as melted move on as you can over cook the powder then will become dull
Now I put all three cards together so that I could stamp my ivy over them all to get the 3D effect is a bit difficult but do bit at a time keep replacing the card where they join then when you are happy with what you have done make sure that you clear away any powders as it gets a bit messy loose powder
With stencil brushes and greens oranges and yellows add your colour little bit at a time can always add more but cant take it away. when happy with this choose your promarkers and colour the leaves I now used pinflair glue to give the height so the sentiment is the highest now wait for this to completely dry before adding to your base care hope you have enjoyed this project thank you for visiting my blog

Square and circle Elephant
Hello every one well another month has gone by already this month Clarity challenge is SQUARES AND CIRCLES so I choose this Elephant from Clarity Groovi club do like these elephants you can do so many occasions with this one well lets begin
Clarity groovi starter pack / Square plate / circle plate
Clarity parchment / parchment tools / parchment scissors
Clarity groovi club system / Elephant from groovi club / small square plate
Clarity groovi straight prinking plate /Clarity Straight corner punch
Clarity groovi black board
Claritys new Boarder holder System
Clarity New boarder pattern pricking plate
Polychromo colour pencils
Lets get started
Use A tumble dryer sheet over your parchment so your tools glide smoothly do your embossing and white work and colouring on the reverse but your pricking from the front
With your square plate in main groovi system work out which square you would like I used the outer size but did the inner square two deep, Then your circle plate in should fit just tight between the square but only gone down one circle on this for the boarder
Now with The small Groovi system from club or if you have the adapter to put small plates in I put my Elephants in
Now put in your square plate in and add little squares to the corners Put your pricking mat underneath the boarder system and have the right side of your parchment for all pricking Find the right pattern to put in these my idea was to emboss one square and cut out the next and so on Go to main groovi system And straight groovi plate with number two tool on the reverse still put in the dots between the square and circles
with your soft side of your black board or blue start adding the whiting but with the 4 tool don't rub to hard want light feather strokes as it is important as it will buckle and it does well to rest the work go put the kettle on have tea or coffee and start again each time it will get slightly whiter
Back to the groovi system I decided to put squares in the circles so that I could emboss circle dots as I felt it needed something
Now back to your hard side of your board add your colours I wanted to keep to bronze pinks greys for this but still on the reverse side of parchment
With your parchment scissors holding them flat with slight twist make your cuts when I had done this I used my soft board again and also whiten the inner part of the elephants ears felt this made the ears come to life
I cut around this work leavening a boarder so I could fit this nicely to backing gold card with punch
Well I hope this has been useful to you all and you have enjoyed doing this like I have thank you for coming along to my sight hope you will come back again soon xx
